**Opportunity: Large Projects Capturing Lead Engineer**

Eaton’s Middle East team seeks a highly experienced Large Projects Capturing Lead Engineer to spearhead the acquisition of new business opportunities, primarily within governmental or complex private mega-projects. This role encompasses the development and execution of winning strategies, the leadership of technical engineering proposal development, and the comprehensive management of the capture process from initial identification to contract award. The position necessitates proactive engagement prior to formal Request for Proposal (RFP) announcements, effectively bridging the gap between business technical development and proposal teams to guide the pursuit strategy.

**Responsibilities:**

* Identify and assess mega business opportunities, determining their viability and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
* Develop comprehensive capture plans to secure identified opportunities, including understanding client technical engineering needs, identifying competitive advantages, and formulating compelling proposals.
* Lead the creation of well-structured, persuasive proposals that meet client technical requirements.
* Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, marketing, and finance) to ensure alignment and effective execution of the capture strategy.
* Oversee the entire capture process, including tracking progress, managing risks, and implementing necessary adjustments.
* Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and proposal performance to inform the effective implementation of capture strategies.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to negotiate Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) to finalize agreements.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; a qualification in Business Administration is advantageous.
* Minimum of ten years of experience in a similar capacity.
* Demonstrable experience in capturing large and complex projects.
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Proven leadership skills.
* Project management expertise.
* Experience within a similar industry.
