Job Description:**Option 1 (Focus on Responsibilities):**
Assume responsibility for the comprehensive execution of landscape design projects, encompassing the creation of detailed drawings, technical documentation, and shop drawings conforming to project specifications; proactive coordination with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to maintain effective communication and project alignment; diligent review and interpretation of project contracts, drawings, and specifications to guarantee compliance with client mandates and industry benchmarks; meticulous development and upkeep of project records, inclusive of material submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and progress reports; provision of support in the formulation of project schedules, cost assessments, and resource allocation strategies; performance of site inspections to validate design implementation and resolve emergent technical challenges; establishment of communication channels with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the punctual acquisition and delivery of materials; contribution to the compilation of as-built drawings and project closure documentation; enforcement of adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols throughout the project lifecycle; and active involvement in value engineering and continuous improvement programs to optimize project deliverables.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in landscape engineering or a similar technical office role.
- Proven experience in preparing technical drawings and documentation for landscape projects.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to interpret and apply project specifications, drawings, and contracts.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
