Job Description:Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai seeks a Kitchen Receiver to join its Culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Culinary arts preferred. A minimum of two years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or free-standing restaurant, including experience as a Kitchen Receiver in a high-volume establishment, is also desired. The Kitchen Receiver is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, and organization of all food and non-food deliveries, ensuring adherence to hotel standards, HACCP guidelines, and food safety regulations. This role also encompasses maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in receiving and storage areas, supporting kitchen and stewarding teams, and participating in training sessions. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong operational focus, physical capability, teamwork, communication skills, and knowledge of stock control, equipment use, and food hygiene.
