Jumeirah is synonymous with Arabian luxury hospitality and the ability to craft distinctive, purposeful experiences for the world’s most discerning travellers.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah The Red Sea.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely in compliance with health and safety standards. Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and exhaust systems.Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and service disruptions.Maintain and repair laundry machines including washers, dryers, ironing systems, and steam generators.Monitor performance and conduct regular service to ensure optimal functionality.Respond to breakdowns and coordinate with laundry operations to minimize impact on service delivery.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Hold a technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or appliance maintenance. Possess strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry systems.Interpret and read technical manuals and schematics accurately. Adapt to flexible work schedules, including shifts, weekends, and emergency situations.Have 2+ years of experience in kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment. About the BenefitsBesides generous F&B benefits and reduced hotel rates across our hotels globally, this role has excellent employee benefits making the role attractive to high performers and any applicant who likes to associate her/himself with one of the most luxurious brands in the hospitality industry.
