We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our trading team as a Junior Execution Trader. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in executing trades across various financial markets. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of financial instruments and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Trade Execution:
- Execute trades across multiple asset classes including currencies, equities and derivatives, based on signals given by the company.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of trades while adhering to regulatory requirements and internal trading policies.
Market Monitoring:
- Monitor market conditions and analyze relevant data to stay informed about macroeconomic trends, company news, and geopolitical events that may impact financial markets.
Order Management:
- Manage order flow and prioritize trade execution based on various factors such as market liquidity, price movements, and instructions.
- Work closely with other traders to optimize trade execution strategies.
Risk Management:
- Assist in managing trading risks by monitoring exposure limits, analyzing trading patterns, and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Technology Utilization:
- Utilize trading platforms, order management systems, and other trading tools effectively to execute trades efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of trading technology solutions.
Shift Work:
- It will be required to work in shifts depending on market coverage.
Skills
Requirements:
- No previous trading experience is required, but it is a plus.
- Understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and platforms is also a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within a team.
