Job Description
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for registering daily journal entries accurately and efficiently.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant,
you will play a key role in supporting the finance department and ensuring the integrity of our financial records.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices in Kuwait
Skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Record daily journal entries in the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify the accuracy of accounting transactions and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing various financial reports and schedules.
• Support the Senior Accountant in analyzing financial data and preparing ad-hoc reports as required.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
