Job Description: **System Administrator – Intelligent Technical Solutions**

**Job Summary:**

Intelligent Technical Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative System Administrator to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive remote IT support to our clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical assistance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving and customer service skills, capable of maintaining our organization’s high standards of IT service.

**Job Responsibilities:**

The System Administrator will be expected to independently resolve the following technical issues:

* Workstation operating system issues
* Printer malfunctions
* Standard business application (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) issues
* Line-of-business application issues for both common (e.g., SAGE ERP, QuickBooks) and specialized applications, with vendor support as needed
* Server malfunctions
* Basic and intermediate networking challenges
* Serve as an escalation point for junior technicians

**Job Qualifications:**

* Demonstrated experience with Windows and macOS troubleshooting
* Proficiency in managing Server versions 2012 through 2022
* Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V virtualization platforms
* Experience in supporting M365 and Azure environments
* A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in IT Support or a related field
* Fundamental understanding of firewalls, switches, network architecture, and troubleshooting methodologies
* Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity solutions, mobile devices, and various business applications
* Prior experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable
* Active Server Certifications are preferred

**Job Requirements:**

* Establishment of a suitable home office environment, including:
* A functional computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM, i5 processor, and running Windows 10 or macOS Big Sur
* A stable internet connection with a minimum of 5 Mbps upload and download speeds
* An HD webcam and high-quality noise-canceling headset for virtual meetings
* A mobile phone capable of installing the Microsoft Authenticator application
* An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) if using a desktop computer (not required for laptops)
* Alignment with Intelligent Technical Solutions’ core values and company culture
* Excellent command of written and spoken English
* Availability to work full-time, forty (40) hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST), Monday through Friday. This is a fully remote position.
* Successful completion of online behavior and cognitive assessments
* Preference given to candidates holding at least two of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, 3cx Basic Certified Engineer

**Compensation:**

The starting pay rate is $8.70 per hour and may be adjusted based on experience.
