Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
– Troubleshoot technical issues with the agency’s software and systems debugging.
– Maintain the agency website & Mobile App and directing or performing Website updates. Stay up-to-date on the latest travel trends and technologies.
– Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, detailed visual mockups and prototypes.
– Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining. Maintaining performance of the booking engine online API /GDDs
– Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritise needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
– Collaborate with cross functional teams like product managers, developers, and designers.
– Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types. – Editing, or writing Website content and back up the files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
– Designing multimedia (digital images, video animation, and textual animations) content ideas in collaboration marketing and production team.
– Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
– Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
– Provide technical support and perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications and Experience Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree from a recognized higher education institution.
Experience:
Candidates should have an Advanced level of expertise, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Previous experience in comparable positions within a web and app development organisation is considered a valuable asset.
Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Travel agency operations and business across various sectors. Basic knowledge of online travel agency (OTA) practices and techniques.
Skills
Web Development:
– In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development programs, including PHP, MySQL, Node.js and React.
– Design Tools: – Proficient in software design tools such as Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.
– Aesthetic sensibility and a sharp eye for visually captivating content.
– Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to convey information and ideas clearly and confidently.
– Strong research capabilities, enabling quick and accurate data assimilation, analysis, and reporting to appropriate audiences.
– Exceptional problem-solving skills and familiarity with travel industry software and systems.
– Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and a strong sense of initiative in project delivery.
Employment Benefits:
Employment Type: Full Time
Employee Monthly Salary Range: 3,000 to 4,000 AED / $800 to $1,100
Working Environment:
Office based Working Days: 6 Days (One Day off)
Working Hours: 9:00 am to 6:30 pm
