Where no two days are the same.Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly skilled IT/OT Architect to join our team and lead the implementation of integrated IT and OT solutions to enhance the manufacturing processes.You Will Be Accountable ForSystem Design and Architecture: Design and implement robust IT/OT architectures that integrate seamlessly with our manufacturing processes. This includes defining the structure, components, modules, interfaces, and data for systems to meet specified requirements to support real-time and historical data processing.Technology Evaluation: Assess and select appropriate technologies and tools for the development and implementation of IT/OT solutions. Assess and select technologies for IT/OT convergence, including edge computing, industrial IoT platforms, and cloud-native services. Stay updated with the latest technological trends and innovations.Integration: Ensure seamless integration of IT systems with operational technology (OT) systems, including SCADA, PLCs, and MES, to optimize manufacturing processes.Data Modeling and Analytics Enablement: Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to support deployment of machine learning models both on-prem (edge) and in the cloud.Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and developers, to ensure that the architecture aligns with business objectives and technical requirements.Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation that outlines the architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies, serving as a reference for future development and maintenance.Quality Assurance: Ensure that the architecture meets quality standards and adheres to best practices in software development and system integration.Security: Implement robust security measures to protect both IT and OT systems from cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Project Management: Lead and manage IT/OT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.Your RoleBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT/OT architecture, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Strong expertise in both IT and OT systems, including SCADA, PLCs, MES, and ERP platforms. Demonstrated experience in developing and integrating applications using Cloud preferred Microsoft Azure, with a focus on ingesting, processing, and analyzing OT data from industrial sources (e.g., sensors, PLCs, SCADA).
