The Information Technology department of Samir Group, a prominent company in Saudi Arabia, seeks a highly qualified and motivated Network, Security & Technical Support Specialist to provide offshore support from our Cairo office. The incumbent will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, system environments, and IT security controls, encompassing the following key responsibilities:
* **Network Management:** Configure and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure components, including switching, routing, DHCP, DNS, and access points; execute new system deployments, firmware upgrades, and continuous system monitoring; configure and manage firewall systems, encompassing policies, services, licensing, and version upgrades; establish and monitor server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* **Systems Administration:** Configure and administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including policies, services, licenses, and monitoring; configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) and cloud infrastructure; manage Exchange Email Services, encompassing configuration, monitoring, policies, and licensing.
* **Security Management:** Implement and monitor endpoint security solutions, including devices, policies, services, and licensing; configure and manage Azure Intune, including users, groups, devices, policies, and services; administer Microsoft Defender Security across the domain, users, devices, and policies; manage email security cloud gateway, ensuring domain protection, monitoring, and license management; monitor and enforce network security policies; perform vulnerability management, including scanning, patching, and reporting; implement and support security awareness solutions and user training programs.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network and system administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and server technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem (AD, VM, Intune, Defender).
- Solid understanding of email and endpoint security solutions.
- Good troubleshooting and incident response skills.
- Strong documentation and communication skills
