Job Description:IT Infrastructure Engineer A leading organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of core infrastructure systems supporting both on-premises and cloud environments. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability across the enterprise. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage servers, storage, and network components in both on-premises and cloud environments. Maintain and optimize virtualization platforms, such as VMware and Hyper-V. Administer Windows server environments and manage Active Directory. Configure and maintain switches, firewalls, routers, VPNs, and load balancers. Manage cloud resources on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including compute, storage, identity, and networking services. Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring tools. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation, CCNA or equivalent, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), AWS/Azure Solutions Architect. Experience: 3-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with demonstrated expertise in large-scale projects, migrations, and upgrades. Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration. Proficiency in virtualization technologies. Strong understanding of enterprise networking principles and practices. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in IT infrastructure. Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving and technical expertise. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
