Job Description: **Computer Systems Support Specialist**

The Computer Systems Support Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive support and maintenance of computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrading of all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

* Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
* Providing technical assistance to users, both in person and remotely, to facilitate system setup and issue resolution.
* Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing, and resolving hardware/software malfunctions.
* Replacing components as necessary.
* Providing support, including procedural documentation and generating relevant reports.
* Adhering to diagrams and written instructions to facilitate fault repair or system setup.
* Supporting the deployment of new applications.
* Establishing new user accounts and profiles, and managing password-related issues.
* Responding to service requests within established timeframes.
* Maintaining focus on tasks until completion or appropriate escalation to third-party resources.
* Prioritizing and managing multiple active cases concurrently.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows Workstations, Windows Servers, VMware, and Linux. Extensive experience in application support is required, specifically with IP Scanners, Repairing S/W tools and converters, Client Antivirus, Remote management Agents (Remote Admin, Remote Assistance, Desktop remote Connection), Exchange Clients (MS Outlook, Outlook Express, Outlook WEB Mail), VPN client connections, and Client Firewalls. A comprehensive understanding of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including ADSL Modems and Routers, Indoor and Outdoor Wireless AP, Switches, Patch Panels, Printers, Different Types Scanners TCP/IP protocol and Related Commands (Telnet, ping, Tracert, route, IPConfig, netstat) POP3, SMTP, DHCP, is essential. A solid understanding of CCTV systems’ installation, repair, and troubleshooting (hardware/software) is required.
