IT Engineer

Job Description:Help AG seeks a qualified and experienced IT Engineer to design, configure, and implement IT infrastructure solutions across multiple locations. The incumbent will be responsible for high-level architecture design, server deployment, virtualization implementation, and ensuring adherence to organizational and security protocols. The Engineer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure environments. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive solution designs and architecture diagrams, configuring and deploying physical servers, implementing virtualization solutions, installing and configuring security agents, executing test plans, validating functional performance, and ensuring compliance with organizational, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in server hardware, operating systems, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and Visio (or equivalent) is required. Experience in energy sector IT/OT environments is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
