Job Description:Egyscan for Radiology and Labs is seeking to recruit an **Insurance Approval Officer** possessing extensive experience in medical insurance processing. This position is of critical importance in guaranteeing that all medical procedures receive prior authorization in accordance with applicable insurance policies.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Submission and diligent follow-up of approval requests submitted to insurance providers.
* Verification of patient insurance coverage prior to the administration of medical procedures.
* Coordination with reception and medical staff to ascertain confirmation of approvals.
* Maintenance of accurate insurance records and associated documentation.
* Professional management of claim denials and subsequent resubmission efforts.
* Provision of timely status updates to patients concerning their insurance eligibility and coverage.
Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience in medical insurance approvals
Good knowledge of insurance companies’ protocols and portals
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage time-sensitive requests
Good communication and coordination skills
