Job Description:**Formal Option:**
Parsons is seeking a qualified individual to oversee Dry-Utilities information systems, plan IT activities, and ensure data security and accessibility. This role encompasses analyzing IT needs, installing and maintaining hardware/software, implementing security measures, managing IT staff, and communicating with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include system implementation and maintenance, security and risk management, team and vendor management, process and procedure development, data analysis and governance, problem-solving and communication, and IT strategy and planning.
**Responsibilities:**
* Plan and direct the installation and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and other systems, including diagnostics and system restoration.
* Establish and maintain processes to protect against IT security threats, manage data protection, and mitigate the risk of legal or financial penalties from data breaches.
* Plan and direct the work of IT staff, including analysts and developers, and negotiate with vendors to ensure high-quality performance.
* Design procedures for employees to follow for common IT issues to reduce support requests and improve efficiency.
* Analyze data to identify trends and inefficiencies, create code to protect data, and implement data governance policies to ensure data integrity and security.
* Troubleshoot computer system errors and utilize strong communication skills to interact effectively with senior leaders, staff, and other departments.
* Analyze an organization’s IT needs and develop strategic plans, including recommending upgrades, assessing project costs and benefits, and setting departmental goals.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science, or information technology.
* Proficiency in IT systems, data modeling, and experience with relevant software, hardware, and query languages.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and direct the work of others, manage budgets, and negotiate with vendors.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze situations and choose appropriate solutions.
* Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
