Job Description:**Role Summary**

The Human Resources Director holds responsibility for the leadership and direction of the Human Resources department, providing comprehensive HR services to the organization. This encompasses strategic human capital planning, development of organizational strategies, employee relations management, talent acquisition and development, performance management oversight, and the maintenance of a positive and productive work environment in accordance with corporate objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**

* **Strategic HR Leadership:** Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
* **Talent Acquisition & Management:** Oversee all recruitment activities to ensure the effective sourcing, hiring, and retention of qualified personnel throughout the organization.
* **Employee Relations:** Cultivate a positive work environment through proactive employee engagement initiatives and the timely resolution of employee relations concerns.
* **Performance Management:** Implement and manage performance evaluation processes, ensuring the establishment of clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and robust feedback mechanisms.
* **Learning & Development:** Design and deliver development programs that are aligned with organizational requirements, encompassing training, leadership development, and career planning.
* **Compensation & Benefits:** Manage compensation structures and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and compliance with applicable legal regulations.
* **Compliance & Policies:** Ensure adherence to legal HR standards and internal policies, effectively managing employee contracts, leave requests, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
* **HR Analytics & Reporting:** Utilize data and HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making and enhance workforce productivity.

Skills:

Qualifications and Specifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in the retail sector is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to develop HR systems, policies, and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
