**Summary of HSSE Role**

This position is responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) policies to ensure a safe workplace and compliance with all applicable regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, performing site inspections, delivering training programs, investigating incidents, and reporting on safety performance. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to HSSE standards, drive continuous improvement in safety performance, and manage emergency preparedness initiatives.

**Detailed Job Responsibilities**

* **HSSE Policy and Procedure Development:** Develop, maintain, and enforce HSSE policies, procedures, and management plans in alignment with corporate requirements and legal regulations.
* **Risk Management:** Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and implement preventative and corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
* **Compliance and Auditing:** Ensure full compliance with all relevant HSSE standards, laws, and regulations through regular inspections and audits of work sites, equipment, and personnel.
* **Training and Awareness:** Develop and deliver comprehensive HSSE training programs for employees and contractors, conduct new employee orientations, and manage emergency preparedness training exercises.
* **Incident Investigation:** Conduct thorough investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
* **Reporting and Analysis:** Prepare and submit detailed reports on safety performance, incident investigations, and audit findings. Compile and analyze statistical data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
* **Stakeholder Communication:** Provide expert advice and guidance to management and staff on HSSE-related matters.
* **International Support:** Provide coverage for the role in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as required.

**Deliverables**

* Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team and field service operations to address HSSE issues that may arise during activities at customer sites.
* Serve as a technical advisor to management, operations, employees, and other functional groups to facilitate ongoing HSSE improvements.
* Cultivate an interdependent safety culture where employees actively support each other and take personal responsibility for health, safety, and environmental practices and conditions.
* Drive improvements in HSSE performance metrics and risk mitigation strategies across field services and site operations.

**Authority**

* Halt any unsafe act immediately.
* Request necessary information to perform assigned tasks effectively.
* Advise management of any issues affecting product or service quality.

**Required Qualifications**

* **Education:** Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Environmental Management, *OR* Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health with NEBOSH Certificate or Environmental Management Certificate.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Valid Driver’s License.

* **Experience:** Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the administration of safety functions, including training, program monitoring, and compliance.
