Job Description:The individual will be responsible for the following functions related to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

* Developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring adherence to local, national, and international regulations and best practices.
* Conducting risk assessments and hazard identification surveys to identify workplace hazards and recommending appropriate control measures.
* Investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and maintaining accurate records of incidents and near misses.
* Developing and delivering HSE training programs for employees on hazard recognition, safe work practices, emergency response, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Monitoring compliance with HSE regulations and internal policies through inspections, audits, and assessments, and addressing any identified gaps.
* Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures and conducting regular drills to ensure preparedness for various emergencies.
* Promoting a positive safety culture through awareness campaigns, safety meetings, and other initiatives.
* Maintaining accurate records of HSE activities, including inspections, training, incidents, and audits, and preparing and submitting regular reports to management on HSE performance.
* Overseeing the HSE performance of contractors working on site and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
* Managing the selection, use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Continuously seeking opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the HSE program and promote a culture of safety excellence.
* Remaining current with changes in HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
