Manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures specific to elevator industry operations (installation, service, site work, etc.). Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses at installation and maintenance locations. Ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international HSE standards and regulations. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to implement safety controls and preventive measures. Facilitate safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training for field technicians, engineers, and subcontractors. Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare comprehensive reports, and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and promote continuous improvement. Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain all requisite HSE documentation, safety permits, and certifications.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree.
Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NIOSH, IOSH, OSHA) preferred.
1–5 years of HSE experience, preferably in the construction, engineering, or elevator/escalator industry.
Familiarity with lifting operations, confined spaces, working at heights, and electrical lock-out/tag-out procedures.
