Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialities across a wide variety of projects and sectors through the delivery of sophisticated, qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.SummaryThe HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and overseeing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across the joinery factory and fit-out project sites. The role ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with internal safety policies and relevant regulatory requirements. This includes monitoring daily operations, conducting inspections, delivering safety training, facilitating incident investigations, and promoting a proactive safety culture to prevent workplace accidents and health hazards.ResponsibilitiesImplement, monitor, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance at both factory and site locations.Conduct routine safety inspections, risk assessments, and workplace audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.Ensure proper workplace housekeeping, machine guarding, safe handling of tools/materials, and control of hazardous substances within the factory environment.Oversee and ensure the proper use, availability, and condition of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all employees and subcontractors.Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing HSE training sessions to enhance awareness and safe working practices.Monitor site and factory activities to verify adherence to method statements, safety plans, and approved work procedures.Respond to incidents and near-misses by facilitating investigations, preparing incident reports, and recommending preventive measures.Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, inspection records, compliance logs, and monthly HSE performance reports.Coordinate with project teams, site supervisors, and factory managers to actively promote a safe working environment.Location: ICAD 1, Musaffah, Abu DhabiWhat will it be like to work for United Al Saqer Group?Established more than 37 years ago, the United Al Saqer Group (UASG) is one of the leading multi-sector business groups in the United Arab Emirates.
