**Role Summary:**
The HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on all matters pertaining to human capital management, ensuring strategic alignment between HR initiatives and business objectives to foster sustainable growth and a performance-driven culture. The position necessitates a thorough understanding of business operations to facilitate the effective development and implementation of HR policies and practices, with a focus on meritocracy and diversity. Key responsibilities include organizational development, employee relations, training and development, and workforce optimization, all while adhering to Group HR policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement HR strategies and annual HR plans in collaboration with the Business Managing Director, Senior HR Business Partner, Group Managing Director, and Group HR Director.
* Disseminate HR plans and progress updates to the HR function and Business Units.
* Promote continuous improvement in HR activities within Business Units.
* Oversee the effective onboarding and integration of new employees to ensure rapid productivity.
* Formulate succession plans and retention strategies for key talent and positions.
* Design and execute learning and development programs to enhance individual skills and capabilities.
* Implement performance management plans to drive performance improvement or facilitate employee separation, as necessary.
* Define training requirements to support business objectives.
* Liaise with the Group Training Department to ensure the delivery of relevant training initiatives.
* Identify and address training needs for key and high-potential employees.
* Ensure the identification of suitable successors for all critical positions.
* Manage employee relations matters within Business Units.
* Cultivate a culture of employee engagement based on Al-Futtaim Group’s core values.
* Reinforce a culture of meritocracy, performance focus, and diversity.
* Educate and advise line managers on risk mitigation and compliance with local regulations and Group policies.
* Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures.
* Ensure the proper application of disciplinary procedures prior to employee termination.
* Serve as a trusted business partner and coach to senior management.
* Consult and support line managers across Business Units, with a focus on employee engagement.
* Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to management and the HR team on people-related issues.
* Act as a change agent and facilitate organizational transitions.
* Monitor incentive structures and compliance with manpower budgets.
* Implement employee engagement action plans.
* Advise on the creation and management of a lean and multi-skilled workforce.
* Facilitate business structure reorganizations and consolidations to enhance efficiency.
* Communicate organizational messages and monitor feedback within Business Units.
* Ensure compliance with localization policies and targets.
* Enhance Business Unit productivity through appropriate interventions.
* Ensure adherence to manpower budgeting and Emiratization targets.
* Provide line management with regular financial reporting on employee costs.
* Conduct annual manpower budgeting exercises accurately and efficiently.
* Manage the HR Department budget and ensure adherence to financial systems.
* Monitor incentive payouts and communicate manpower performance within divisions.
* Attend board and financial meetings, as required.
* Ensure compliance with HR policies and strengthen internal controls.
* Lead process and governance adherence, with a focus on Emiratization initiatives.
* Educate staff on policies and procedures through Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training.
* Address policy breaches promptly and decisively.
* Safeguard positions designated exclusively for Emirati nationals.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Management is required.
* Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification is desirable.
* A minimum of five years of experience as an HR Generalist is required, with previous HR Business Partner experience preferred.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Change Management, Organizational Development, Performance/Compensation Management, and Recruitment & Selection is essential.
* Strategic thinking and solution-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Advanced analytical and financial modeling abilities.
* Teamwork and mentoring/coaching competencies.
