Job Description:**Subject: HR Business Partner Opportunity at Al-Futtaim Group**

**Role Overview:**
The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on all human capital matters, ensuring alignment of HR strategies with business objectives to foster growth and a performance-driven culture. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of business operations to facilitate the development and implementation of HR policies and practices, with an emphasis on meritocracy and diversity. Key responsibilities include organizational development, employee relations, training and development, and workforce optimization, all while adhering to Group HR policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement HR strategies and annual HR plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
* Communicate HR plans and progress to HR functions and business units.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within HR activities across business units.
* Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new employees are effectively integrated.
* Develop succession plans and retention strategies for key talent and positions.
* Design and execute learning and development programs to enhance employee skills.
* Implement performance management plans to improve performance or manage employee separations.
* Identify and coordinate training initiatives in alignment with business needs.
* Manage employee relations matters within business units, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
* Foster a culture of employee engagement aligned with Al-Futtaim’s core values.
* Promote a culture of meritocracy, performance focus, and diversity.
* Advise and educate line managers on risk mitigation, compliance with local laws, and adherence to Group policies.
* Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures.
* Ensure proper application of disciplinary procedures prior to employee terminations.
* Serve as a trusted business partner and coach to senior management.
* Provide consulting and support to line managers on employee engagement initiatives.
* Advise, coach, and mentor management and the HR team on people-related matters.
* Act as a change agent, facilitating organizational transitions.
* Monitor incentive structures and compliance with manpower budgets.
* Implement employee engagement action plans.
* Advise on the creation and management of a lean and multi-skilled workforce.
* Facilitate business structure reorganizations and consolidations to improve efficiency.
* Disseminate organizational messages and monitor feedback within business units.
* Ensure compliance with localization policies and targets.
* Drive improvements in business unit productivity through strategic interventions.
* Ensure adherence to manpower budgeting and Emiratisation targets.
* Provide regular financial reporting of employee costs to line management.
* Conduct annual manpower budgeting exercises accurately and efficiently.
* Manage the HR Department budget and ensure adherence to financial systems.
* Monitor incentive payouts and communicate manpower performance within divisions.
* Attend board and financial meetings as required.
* Ensure compliance with HR policies and strengthen internal controls.
* Lead process and governance adherence, with a focus on Emiratization.
* Educate staff on policies and procedures through SOP training.
* Address policy breaches promptly and decisively.
* Safeguard Emirati-only positions.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Management required.
* CIPD qualification preferred.
* Minimum of five years of experience as an HR Generalist, with prior HR Business Partner experience essential.
* Proficiency in Change Management, Organizational Development, Performance/Compensation Management, and Recruitment & Selection required.
* Demonstrated strategic thinking and solution-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
* Teamwork and mentoring/coaching competencies.
