Job Description: **Option:**

The incumbent will be responsible for a range of Human Resources and personnel functions, encompassing recruitment, employee development and training initiatives. This includes the development and administration of compensation and benefits programs, salary scales, and grading systems. Core responsibilities involve payroll processing, encompassing the verification of timesheets to ascertain employee hours worked, accurate calculation of employee remuneration considering factors such as overtime, bank transfers, insurance contributions, and other relevant deductions. The role requires the processing of various payment methods including cash, cheques, and electronic transfers, dependent on business requirements. Furthermore, the incumbent will manage the processing of holiday, sick, maternity, and paternity leave payments, alongside addressing employee queries related to timesheets and payslips. This position necessitates the acquisition and validation of direct debit banking information from employees. Maintaining comprehensive employee records, including personal details, attendance, leave, and performance evaluations, is crucial. The incumbent will assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as coordinating employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance. Addressing employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances in a timely and professional manner forms a key component. Support will be provided in the management of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Continuous monitoring of labor laws and regulations is essential to ensure compliance and mitigate potential legal risks.
