We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Reservations Agent to join our team and contribute to the efficient management of guest bookings.

**Position Summary:**

The Hotel Reservations Agent will be responsible for managing all facets of guest reservations, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the meticulous accuracy of all booking data. This position requires proficient communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively within a dynamic, high-volume environment.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Process incoming reservation requests received via telephone, electronic mail, and online booking platforms.
* Provide comprehensive information pertaining to hotel services, room availability, rates, and promotional offerings to prospective guests.
* Facilitate reservation modifications or cancellations as requested by guests.
* Ensure the accurate and timely entry of all reservation data into the hotel management system.
* Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with front desk and sales personnel to maximize room sales and occupancy rates.
* Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a prompt and professional manner.
* Maintain current knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and local points of interest to provide informed recommendations to guests.
* Conduct post-stay follow-up with guests to gather feedback and encourage future bookings.

Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a reservations or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
