Job Description:**Oracle Database Administrator Position**

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our Infrastructure Operations and Support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability of Oracle databases. This position requires a strong aptitude for problem-solving, effective communication skills, and the ability to function both autonomously and as part of a team.
**Responsibilities:**
* Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database servers (11g, 12c, 19c) in complex configurations, including upgrades and migrations.
* Optimization of database performance through tuning and troubleshooting methodologies.
* Proactive monitoring of Oracle database health, identification of potential issues, and implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
* Execution of routine database maintenance tasks, including patching, changes, and release deployments.
* Implementation and management of backup and recovery procedures, encompassing disaster recovery operations.
* Implementation and maintenance of high availability solutions utilizing Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and related technologies.
* Ensuring database security through the implementation and maintenance of security protocols for regulatory compliance.
* Collaboration with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to resolve database-related issues effectively.
**Qualifications:**
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
* **Experience:** A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
* **Certification:** Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is preferred.
* **Skills:** Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, Goldengate, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
* Experience with other DBMS such as MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
