Job Description:Head of Revenue – Retail Media Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Head of Revenue – Retail Media to lead and develop our company’s retail media practice. This executive role is responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive strategy to establish and scale a significant new revenue stream for our organization. The successful candidate will possess full Profit and Loss (P&L) ownership for the retail media division, establishing ambitious growth targets and ensuring profitability. This is a critical leadership position that will directly impact our company’s commercial success in the evolving digital marketplace. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive retail media strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability. Assume full P&L responsibility for the retail media division, setting and achieving ambitious growth targets. Forge strategic, top-to-top partnerships with major retail media networks, such as Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect. Integrate retail media seamlessly with our broader brand, sales, and supply chain functions. Champion a data-driven culture, leveraging advanced analytics to prove Return on Investment (ROI) and guide strategic investment decisions. Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing team of retail media professionals. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in retail media, digital marketing, or e-commerce, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)/Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Demonstrated success in owning and managing a full P&L for a business unit or division, with a strong focus on revenue growth and profitability. Proven experience in designing and executing multi-year, multi-million dollar retail media strategies. Expertise in negotiating and managing large-scale strategic partnerships and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with Tier-1 retail media networks (e.g., Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Kroger Precision Marketing). Strong leadership skills with a history of building, scaling, and mentoring high-performing teams. Deep understanding of advanced analytics, measurement frameworks (e.g., Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), incrementality), and data-driven decision-making to prove ROI. Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that integrate digital strategy with sales, brand marketing, and supply chain. Exceptional commercial acumen and senior-level negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree in a relevant field. Experience working directly for a major retail media network or a leading ad-tech platform. Knowledge of omni-channel marketing strategies and their integration with retail media. Experience in leveraging first-party (1P) data for audience targeting and measurement. Established relationships with key leaders at major retail media networks.
