**Job Description: Head of Direct Response Marketing**

We are seeking a highly qualified Head of Direct Response Marketing to assume comprehensive responsibility for our performance marketing operations, encompassing offer strategy, funnel development, creative direction, and paid media implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a proven record of scaling high-performing video sales letter (VSL) funnels, demonstrate the capacity to translate data into actionable strategies, and aspire to lead growth initiatives for a rapidly expanding e-commerce entity.

This position transcends the scope of a conventional media buyer role, representing a comprehensive leadership opportunity in direct response marketing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our copywriting, development, and creative teams, while retaining ultimate accountability for performance metrics.

**Responsibilities**

* Develop and manage the testing roadmap across all paid platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Taboola, etc.).
* Lead funnel strategy and execution, from conceptualization to launch (including pre-landers, VSLs, checkout flows, upsells).
* Collaborate with our copywriter to define offer angles, hooks, and creative direction.
* Review and provide final approval for all major creatives (VSLs, ads, landers), offering high-level feedback.
* Optimize conversion rates, Average Order Value (AOV), and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) across full funnels using both quantitative and qualitative data.
* Conduct competitor research and funnel teardowns to inform strategic decisions.
* Coordinate with development teams, video editors, and designers to facilitate the creation of funnel assets.
* Identify bottlenecks, scaling opportunities, and advanced growth levers on an ongoing basis.
* Report directly to the Founder/Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and serve as the strategic driver of growth initiatives.

Skills:

Requirements

-Fluent in English (C1 level or above) — must be able to think and communicate like a native marketer
-40+ hours a week availability
-Proven success scaling long-form funnels (VSLs, advertorials, quiz funnels, multi-step checkouts) in ecommerce
-Deep experience with paid acquisition strategy, including creative testing, funnel iteration, offer positioning, and conversion rate optimization
-You’ve owned entire funnels before — from ideation and offer structure to traffic, optimization, and back-end monetization
-Ability to review and direct creative — especially video scripts, landing pages, hooks, and angles
-Medium-level copywriting experience — you don’t need to be a pro writer, but you should be comfortable rewriting hooks, adjusting VSL scripts, or editing copy to improve clarity and performance
-Highly analytical and comfortable making decisions based on CPA, CTR, AOV, ROAS and other performance metrics
-Strong leadership and project management skills — you know how to set priorities, manage people, and keep high-output workflows running
-Very familiar with facebook ads
