As a Guest Services Agent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service and creating memorable moments for our discerning clientele. Key Responsibilities: Extending a warm and personalized welcome to all guests, demonstrating genuine appreciation and promptly addressing their service needs with meticulous care and attention. Efficiently responding to and documenting guest requests, inquiries, and concerns through various communication channels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Operating the telephone switchboard effectively, managing wake-up calls, and directing incoming calls to the appropriate departments with precision. Accurately recording and relaying messages, maintaining comprehensive communication records for reference and follow-up, ensuring a five-star guest experience. Logging guest requests or issues into the computer system and coordinating with relevant departments to facilitate swift resolutions. Providing guests with detailed information about hotel room features, amenities, and local attractions. Assisting guests with accessing Wi-Fi and navigating guest room entertainment systems as needed. Adhering to all hotel policies, procedures, and grooming standards, consistently maintaining a professional and polished appearance. Upholding the confidentiality of proprietary information and safeguarding company assets. Fostering positive relationships with colleagues, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team environment. Supporting compliance with Forbes standards and guidelines, delivering services that exceed expectations. Demonstrating the ability to accurately read and verify information in various formats, accommodating guest needs with a professional demeanor. Fulfilling any other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors, contributing to the smooth operation of guest services. Qualifications and Experience: A proven track record of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English. Proficiency in Arabic or French is highly desirable. Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities to effectively manage a busy environment and deliver a five-star experience for our guests. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong understanding of Hotel PMS systems, specifically Opera. A professional and well-groomed appearance, adhering to hotel grooming standards. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively within a group and across departments. Previous experience in Forbes or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA)-rated properties is advantageous, demonstrating a strong commitment to luxury service standards. A proactive nature, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the operation is executed to perfection. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on hotel requirements. A hands-on attitude and a positive, can-do spirit.
