About GrowthX
In partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, GrowthX is one of the leading accelerator programs in Abu Dhabi and the UAE at large, supporting startups across the entire Middle East region.
A 10-week virtual accelerator program which runs twice a year, GrowthX equips founders with the essentials required to successfully scale their startups to Abu Dhabi’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Applications to join the program are open to B2B tech startups from across the Middle East, Turkey and Pakistan that are looking to establish operations in the UAE capital.
Primarily geared towards growth-stage startups ranging from Seed to Series A, the GrowthX Accelerator empowers B2B tech startups by offering training opportunities that focus on enterprise sales and technical readiness for scale. Through technical and commercial acceleration, the program creates connections and brings innovators together to learn, grow, become investor-ready, and improve engagement with potential regional customers.
About the Role
The Growth X Accelerator Program Manager reports into the regional Microsoft for Startups Managing Director and is responsible for managing the accelerator program end-to-end. The program manager will lead the program’s design and execution, from defining each cohort’s focus areas, to defining the program’s structure and speakers, through to management of Demo Day. The program manager will work closely with other team members (such as marketing, VC network, mentor network, and partnerships leads) to ensure highest quality of experience and outcome for participating startups. This is a key role in the Microsoft for Startups Middle East team and the right candidate will have the opportunity to lead and shape both the accelerator program and how we engage with startups in region.
Salary AED 15,400 per month.
Skills
Requirements:
· Work experience and deep knowledge of the Middle East startup eco-system, such as from an accelerator program, VC or other eco-system stakeholder.
· Startup program management experience, including startup program design, content management and event management (both in-person and virtual).
· Deep understanding of B2B startups’ needs and challenges in both early and growth stages.
· Experience with budget forecasting and management.
· Experience working with or in a corporate environment is a plus.
· Strong focus on driving impact and delivering a high quality experience for startups.
· Great collaboration skills and teamwork.
· Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
This role is a contractor role based out of Dubai, with some travel requirements to Abu Dhabi.
