We are urgently looking for a hands-on Group Budgeting & Reporting Manager to join the Iraq office (Kurdistan).
The Group Budgeting & Reporting Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes for the entire organization. This position involves collaborating with various departments to develop and monitor budgets, analysing financial data, and producing accurate and insightful reports for Leadership Team
Description
Work closely with department heads to develop annual budgets for the group, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Provide guidance on budgeting best practices and support departments in creating realistic and achievable financial plans.Monitor budget performance regularly, identifying variances and working with departments to understand and address discrepancies.Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into budget trends, cost drivers, and potential areas for improvement.Prepare and distribute accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.Provide insights into potential financial risks and opportunities based on forecasting data.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies in all budgeting and reporting activities.Support Ad-Hoc projects as requested by Line Manager.Adhere to company values (excellence, integrity, relationships, accountable)
Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field5+ years’ experience in budgeting, financial planning, and reporting, preferably in a multinational.Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools
