**The Opportunity**
Applications are invited for the SJ/RBG Group’s Graduate Development Program (GDP). Opportunities are available for Graduate Civil Engineers – (Geotechnical) for the 2025 GDP intake.
Successful candidates will join the Urban Civils team and, under the guidance of experienced mentors, will contribute to:
* Executing detailed design work and documentation under supervision.
* Contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
* Liaising with supervisors, draftspersons, and other specialists on matters pertaining to assigned tasks and the delivery of designated work packages and projects.
* Assisting in the preparation of specifications, proposals, and other documents under supervision.
As a graduate employee within the SJ/RBG Group, participation in a quarterly rotation schedule across various business functions will provide exposure to diverse aspects of Civil Engineering (Geotechnical), fostering an appreciation for other technical components of multidisciplinary projects. Furthermore, comprehensive training will be provided, covering aspects such as client consultation and effective time management.
**Candidate Profile**
Suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or Earth Sciences.
* An understanding of the technical, commercial, financial, and marketing considerations within engineering.
* Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within stipulated timeframes and budgetary constraints while maintaining high standards.
* A solid foundation in analytical methods, tools, and engineering principles.
* Strong communication skills, a robust work ethic, and a professional demeanor.
* Willingness and ability to travel as required.
