We are seeking a skilled GIS Developer Engineer to join our team and help us in the design, development, and maintenance of our Geographic Information System (GIS) platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial technology, programming languages, and development tools to create cutting-edge solutions for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain GIS applications, tools, and databases using programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Integrate GIS data from various sources and formats, ensuring accuracy and compatibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug GIS applications to ensure optimal performance
- Stay current with new technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve GIS development processes
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in GIS development, engineering, or related roles
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with GIS software, databases, and geospatial data formats
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
