The hotel offers a collection of exquisite destination dining and wellness experiences.About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to join the SAL team in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Manages the day-to-day operations of the restaurant providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards and liaise with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of operations. Develops the annual restaurant outlet business plan, revenue targets and expense budgets and present for review with the Director of F&B to ensure this is in line with Jumeirah Group policies. Monitors customer satisfaction and respond to customer feedback and complaints ensuring procedures are followed to preserve the restaurants and the Group’s positive image. Monitors and forecast progress against the plan throughout the year and initiate corrective actions, if required, to drive optimal performance and achieve financial and other business targets. Ensures Guests’ dining experience by maintaining consistently high personalised service standards, good food quality and presentation, in line with their expectations. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks to stay up to date with international trends and to ensure the competitive advantage of the restaurant About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant role within the international luxury hospitality industry in a similar role. Fluency in English, with knowledge of an additional language. Strong financial acumen, with proven skills in budgeting, cost control, and driving profitability. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multi-cultural team in a fast-paced environment.
