**General Cashier Position: Jumeirah The Red Sea**

A vacancy exists within the Finance team at Jumeirah The Red Sea for a General Cashier. The incumbent will be responsible for managing daily receipts and disbursements, ensuring adherence to established financial procedures and policies. Key responsibilities include: processing daily cash transactions, encompassing the issuance of IOUs, expense claim payments, and cash advances; timely clearance of cash IOUs and advances; preparation of daily cash transaction reports for review by the Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager; verification of transaction accuracy prior to payment release, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to approval processes; oversight of receipts from the Jumeirah Village Mini Market, preparation of daily sales reports, and coordination of cash deposit procedures with Transguard Services.

**Candidate Profile**

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience: a minimum of three to five years of experience within a Finance department, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of financial principles; proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Payroll, Department Heads, and Finance, as well as external partners such as Suppliers and Auditors; a High School Diploma (essential), with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline preferred; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and demonstrated behavioral competencies, encompassing problem-solving, creativity, leadership, project management, and meticulous attention to detail.
