We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack PHP Developer possessing extensive experience with the CodeIgniter framework to join our EdTech development team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the construction and maintenance of our advanced school management platform, contributing to the development of bespoke features, performance enhancements, and system integrations.
This is a full-time, remote position requiring dedication to collaborative teamwork through online platforms. Time management skills are necessary to monitor work hours accurately and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and maintain backend modules utilizing PHP (CodeIgniter framework).
* Construct responsive front-end components employing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
* Integrate APIs and third-party services.
* Manage databases (MySQL), formulate optimized queries, and ensure data integrity.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
* Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of web applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely project delivery.
* **Remote candidates are expected to fulfill standard daily working hours, maintaining a level of discipline and availability equivalent to an in-office environment.**
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
