Job Description:**Core Responsibilities:**
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
1. **Business Development:** Identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the international freight forwarding and logistics sector; development and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline of prospective clients; execution of regular client visits, meetings, and presentations to promote company services; and the timely and accurate response to Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and tenders.
2. **Account Management:** Cultivation and maintenance of strong client relationships to ensure optimal satisfaction and retention; comprehensive understanding of customer logistics requirements and provision of customized transport and supply chain solutions; and close coordination with operations and customer service departments to guarantee seamless service execution.
3. **Sales Targets & Reporting:** Consistent achievement or exceeding of established monthly and annual sales revenue targets; preparation and presentation of weekly sales activity and performance reports; and in-depth analysis of market trends and competitor activities to pinpoint potential areas for expansion.
4. **Pricing & Negotiation:** Skillful negotiation of freight rates and service terms with carriers and agents to secure competitive pricing advantages; meticulous preparation of customer quotations that ensure profitability and adherence to company policies; and collaborative engagement with internal departments to finalize comprehensive commercial agreements.
