Job Description:
Understanding the purchasing requirements and requests.
Setting up purchase terms and conditions, as well as pricing quotes.
Creating purchase orders and ensuring that they tally with the order received.
Tracking stock in the inventory and restocking the items as and when required.
Preparing and presenting inventory reports to the Purchasing Manager.
Resolving shipment issues faced by the vendors.
Staying up to date with the latest trends in the industry.
Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.
Management and purchasing skills.
Strong analytical abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
