Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from patrons, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are accommodated.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, following established procedures for presentation and portion control.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Provide attentive and personalized service to customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following company policies for cash handling and reporting.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of dining areas.
- Uphold the company’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction at all times.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
