Job Description:**Responsibilities:**
This position encompasses the comprehensive management of fleet maintenance and repair operations, workshop leadership, maintenance planning and execution, reporting and key performance indicator (KPI) achievement, quality, safety, and compliance adherence, and vendor and parts coordination. Specific duties include: leading the response to fleet breakdowns and ensuring timely diagnosis and repair; supervising and managing daily workshop operations; overseeing preventive maintenance schedules; ensuring achievement of targeted KPIs; enforcing workshop safety procedures and compliance with regulations; and collaborating with the spare parts team to ensure component availability.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in fleet maintenance, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Hands-on experience with diesel and gasoline vehicles, including heavy-duty and light-duty types.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, maintenance systems, and workshop best practices.
- Experience with fleet management or CMMS software is a plus.
