Job Description:Etihad Airways is seeking qualified individuals to join our team. The successful candidate will receive a competitive total compensation package, encompassing base salary, flight pay, a housing allowance designated for securing accommodation of the employee’s choosing, and allowances for layovers and meals. Potential earnings may reach up to AED 513,732 (USD 138,318) per annum, tax-free, predicated on a flight schedule of 75 hours per month. Salary increments are awarded annually based on performance.

**Role Responsibilities:**

* Conduct flights in accordance with the current flight plan, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Captain’s instructions. In instances where the Captain is not at the controls, the First Officer shall notify them of any changes to the flight plan, Air Traffic Control (ATC) directives, or geographical position upon their return.
* Assist the Captain with administrative duties pertaining to the flight, as required.
* Independently verify the safe navigation of the aircraft, continuously monitoring its geographical position to ensure safe terrain and weather clearance.
* Maintain a high standard of personal discipline, conduct, and appearance, representing Etihad Airways professionally at all times.

**Qualifications:**

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

* A minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time.
* A minimum of 1,500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit (defined as an aircraft with a Flight Management System (FMS) coupled to an Auto Pilot Flight Director System (APFDS)), or high-performance military jet aircraft.
* 500 hours of flight time on the Airbus A320 Family.
* Experience flying any Airbus Fly-By-Wire (FBW) aircraft within the last 12 months.
* A valid A320 type rating with a minimum of two (2) months validity remaining at the time of joining.
* A current and unrestricted International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Frozen ATPLs will not be accepted unless held by a UAE citizen.
* Current A320 flight experience.
* An unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate.
* Maximum age of 50 years on the date of joining.
* English language proficiency (written and verbal) at Level 4 or higher.
* For flight time accumulated on flights with in-flight relief, 75% of the total hours will be credited towards the required minimums.
