Fire Safety Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead fire protection engineering design across all project phases, including feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, construction drawings preparation, and design optimization. Ensure integration of Egyptian local fire codes, international standards, and Chinese standards, delivering compliant, rational, cost-effective, and safe solutions.

Prepare, review, and finalize fire protection design documents, including process layouts, equipment arrangement, piping, and system design for all facilities. Provide design requirements to related disciplines and contribute to purchase documents, operational procedures, and control specifications.

Localize designs according to Egyptian Engineering Standards (EES) and relevant government regulations, optimizing fire protection solutions to meet local approval and permit requirements.

Provide on-site technical support, addressing fire protection issues during construction, participating in site handover, equipment commissioning, and inspection.

Optimize fire protection design for cost efficiency while ensuring safety, conducting technical-economic analysis of design solutions to enhance project profitability.

Collaborate with Business Development/Commercial teams in preparing technical proposals for tenders, assist in answering technical queries, and contribute to the review of contract technical clauses.
