Job Description:**Option 1 (Formal):**

The incumbent will assume leadership of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function, responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. This individual will serve as a key finance business partner to senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making and driving performance improvement in accordance with established company objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments, ensuring comprehensive alignment with strategic and operational plans.
* Manage rolling forecasts on a monthly/quarterly basis, incorporating updated assumptions based on prevailing market trends, sales pipeline data, and critical cost drivers.
* Ensure the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of all submitted budgets and forecasts.
* Collaborate with commercial, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to develop robust business plans and long-term financial projections.
* Prepare comprehensive scenario analysis, sensitivity modelling, and “what-if” simulations to support strategic realignments and effective risk management protocols.
* Align FP&A deliverables with key business KPIs and strategic growth initiatives (e.g., exports, new product launches, capacity expansion projects).
* Analyze monthly performance against budget, forecast, and prior year benchmarks; prepare detailed variance commentary to explain deviations.
* Identify potential cost-saving opportunities, areas for margin improvement, and key revenue growth drivers.
* Prepare detailed product, customer, and channel profitability analyses to inform strategic decisions.
* Ensure cost center and internal order reporting is accurate and aligned with established cost control measures.
* Deliver insightful and actionable monthly and quarterly management reports, including Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, Operating Expense (OPEX) analysis, Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) reports, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards.
* Generate dynamic reports to facilitate real-time analysis and decision-making.
* Serve as the primary finance liaison to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Research and Development (R&D) departments.
* Challenge underlying assumptions, provide informed financial insights, and support departmental heads in achieving their respective financial goals.
* Collaborate on pricing strategies and conduct Return on Investment (ROI) analyses for marketing campaigns, product launches, and CapEx investments.
* Ensure all FP&A processes are in full compliance with internal controls and established company policies.
* Standardize and automate reports and processes to enhance operational efficiency and improve data accuracy.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape analysis, and relevant macroeconomic indicators that may impact organizational performance.
