The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department assumes responsibility for comprehensive business forecasting and provides analytical support for decision-making across commercial, operational, financial, and strategic domains. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust analytical acumen, technical proficiency, and superior interpersonal skills. This FP&A expert will report to the Commercial Director and oversee a team of {{x}} direct reports. Remote work options are available.

**Responsibilities:**

* Offer timely FP&A financial support to accounting teams pertaining to forecasting, productivity, demand planning, reporting, and relevant metrics.
* Identify and analyze business challenges, subsequently proposing and developing effective solutions.
* Collaborate directly with business unit teams and central FP&A groups to align on metrics, objectives, and business reviews.
* Conduct thorough investigations of financial data to achieve subject matter expertise and deliver comprehensive insights.
* Furnish the accounting team with financial insights and projections, ensuring the provision of reliable data and analysis to inform decision-making and planning processes.
* Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and contribute to the development of presentations that incorporate insightful analysis, highlight actionable items, and effectively frame critical decisions.
* Participate in corporate projects and initiatives impacting the broader organization.
* Construct presentations that deliver insightful analysis, pinpoint necessary action items, and effectively structure upcoming choices.
* Detect and investigate variances in forecasts, budgets, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement.
* Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams across all organizational strata.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and more than 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting or a related area
  • General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles 
  • Experience developing commercial reports and metrics
  • Strong Power BI Reporting Skills. 
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization.
