Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies to support company growth and profitability.
- Prepare detailed financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.
- Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for expansion and cost reduction, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct business modeling and risk assessments to minimize financial risks.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor and manage budgets, providing regular updates and variance analysis to department heads and senior leadership.
- Financial Operations and Reporting:
- Oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Cash Flow and Risk Management:
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
- Manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring proper allocation and investment of funds.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contacts such as bankers, auditors, and regulatory organizations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar senior financial role.
- Experience in ICT, Light-current, or contracting industry is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of corporate financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
