Job Description:**Option 1 (Formal & Concise):**
We are seeking a highly qualified Data Analyst to facilitate data-driven strategic decision-making within our Finance function. This role serves as a crucial liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring alignment of enterprise-wide data initiatives with business requirements, particularly in Finance. The Data Analyst will contribute to the development and governance of our enterprise data platform, supporting strategic programs such as activity-based costing and AI-driven forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess both a broad understanding of data strategy and practical experience with tools like SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Python.
**Accountabilities:**
1. **Strategy Enablement & Data Translation:** Serve as the primary interface between Finance and IT, translating financial requirements into platform and solution design. Lead finance-centric data initiatives (e.g., activity-based costing) and prioritize high-impact data use cases.
2. **Data Governance & Quality:** Lead post-rollout data governance, quality control, and cataloging efforts. Ensure consistent understanding and adoption of key financial metrics (e.g., EBITDA), promoting data discipline and literacy across the organization.
3. **Analytical Development & Delivery of Use Cases:** Sponsor and co-own Finance-led data use cases, including AI and machine learning applications. Utilize SQL, Python, and Power Apps for advanced querying, reporting, and data visualization. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to generate actionable insights.
**Education & Experience:**
* Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power Apps.
* 5-10 years of experience in data-centric roles within Finance, FP&A, or Data Strategy.
* Experience in financial or operational analytics, with a solid understanding of business impact and performance metrics.
* Experience with SAP S4 HANA and other ERP systems, along with expertise in Excel.
* Proficiency in data extraction from various sources and systems.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
