**Job Description:**

The Finance Manager is a key advisor to the business, supporting the Finance Leader in developing the finance team and fostering a thriving environment. This role necessitates impactful communication with all stakeholders, ensuring a robust control and compliance environment. The Finance Manager will be knowledgeable of the EMEA finance management company value proposition, attractive to both current and prospective owners. This position partners with the business to maximize shareholder and owner profit, supporting the Finance Leader in innovation and delivering an industry-leading, efficient finance organization.

The Finance Manager is accountable for understanding and driving the hotel’s financial performance, executing all finance activities within policy, regulatory, and contractual frameworks. This role requires a strong business partnership with the General Manager and the development of excellent working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Hotel Finance, Commercial, IT, Procurement, Human Resources, Operations, Shared Service Centers (where applicable), Owners, Asset Managers, and Regional Operations Finance. The Finance Manager collaborates closely with all Business Partners to cultivate best-in-class hotel Finance teams, participating in relevant Finance development programs.

The incumbent will maintain familiarity with the Hotel’s management agreement and implement processes to ensure compliance, reporting any non-compliance issues to the supervising manager.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

* Proven ability to analyze large volumes of complex financial information from diverse sources and generate comprehensive reports, forecasts, and projections.
* Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, including the effective resolution of issues in collaboration with others.
* Proactive identification and prevention of potential problems.
* Ability to develop problem-solving skills among direct reports and other team members.
* Self-motivated to identify, prioritize, and implement all elements necessary for team success.
* Experience in managing and developing staff.
* Detail-oriented and organized.
* Proficiency in developing and delivering presentations to all levels of the company, hotels, and owners.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills applicable to all management levels and external customers.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new programs.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* University degree in Accounting or Finance.
