The Opportunity Join our Artificial Lift team within our Oilfield Services business, where we deliver intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control energy extraction assets. As a Field Specialist – Artificial Lift, you will provide critical field support to our clients, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of their assets. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in electrical submersible pumps (ESPs) and artificial lift systems to meet and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities: Perform the installation and retrieval of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs) and associated equipment in onshore oil and water wells. Independently monitor, troubleshoot, and test downhole ESP equipment to optimize well productivity and ESP run life. Lead field service teams, fostering positive customer outcomes through confident guidance and technical expertise. Collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve shared objectives. Manage special projects as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills. Conduct all business activities in full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, legal requirements, and Baker Hughes’ core values. Qualifications: A minimum of 2-6 years of technical experience in the operation and maintenance of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs) or other Artificial Lift tools and equipment. A Technical Diploma in Engineering or a higher-level qualification. Demonstrated analytical skills for effective troubleshooting of ESP-related issues. Valid offshore experience. Strong customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
