Job Description:**F&B Secretary – Shangri-La Group | Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates**

**Introduction:**

Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, a distinguished establishment within the Shangri-La Group, invites applications for the position of F&B Secretary. The hotel features 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites, six private pool villas, and 161 fully furnished serviced apartments complemented by a one-kilometre private beach, offering a seamless blend of contemporary Arabic design and exceptional comfort.

**Job Summary:**

The F&B Secretary is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Food & Beverage department, ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of daily activities. This role entails assisting the Director of Food & Beverage and the F&B team with scheduling, communication, and documentation. The primary focus is on maintaining a high standard of organizational efficiency, coordination, and service within the hotel’s F&B division.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Preparation and maintenance of departmental reports, correspondence, schedules, and meeting minutes.
* Management of telephone communications, email correspondence, and inter-departmental communication between F&B outlets and other hotel departments.
* Maintenance and updating of staff rosters, attendance records, and training documentation.
* Assistance with purchasing requests, invoice processing, and inventory documentation.
* Coordination of meetings, events, and administrative tasks to facilitate the overall efficiency of the F&B department.

**Candidate Profile:**

* Demonstrable administrative and organizational proficiencies.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications and Payroll systems.
* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
* Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
* A minimum of two to three years of relevant hotel experience.
* High School Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management is mandatory.
