Job Description:The incumbent shall be responsible for overseeing and directing the cleaning team across all factory locales, including production areas, warehousing facilities, office spaces, and external grounds. This encompasses the development and implementation of comprehensive cleaning and sanitation schedules in close collaboration with the Quality Control and Production departments. Furthermore, the role mandates adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and all relevant food safety standards throughout all hygiene procedures. Daily monitoring and verification of cleaning performance are essential to guarantee full compliance with established hygiene requirements. Responsibilities also include providing thorough training to cleaning personnel on proper cleaning methodologies, safe chemical handling, and adherence to personal hygiene protocols. Meticulous maintenance of accurate cleaning logs, checklists, and sanitation records is required. The proper utilization, storage, and maintenance of all cleaning materials, tools, and equipment must be ensured. Collaboration with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team is necessary to guarantee safe chemical handling practices and adherence to all relevant safety regulations. Regular hygiene audits shall be conducted, and any identified non-conformities must be reported to management. Staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and performance evaluations fall within the purview of this role. Finally, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels of cleaning supplies and initiating replenishment requests as needed.
