**About the Location**

Strategically situated in close proximity to the Prophet’s Mosque, the Hotel will provide luxurious accommodations for the city’s substantial influx of 1.5 million annual visitors. The newly constructed hotel will occupy a prime location in the heart of Madinah, adjacent to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque, a site of profound historical and religious significance in the region. Madinah also houses the Quba Mosque, revered as the oldest mosque globally.

**About The Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Executive Sous Chef to support the culinary operations at Four Seasons Hotel Madinah. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the incumbent will assist in overseeing the preparation, presentation, and service of all food items, ensuring that the culinary team consistently meets Four Seasons’ high standards of quality, creativity, and hygiene. The role encompasses a key responsibility in managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and contributing to the development of innovative menus that elevate the guest experience.

**What You Will Do**

* Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing the day-to-day operations of all kitchen areas, ensuring that food preparation and service meet Four Seasons’ standards of excellence.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Ensure the preparation and presentation of high-quality, consistent dishes in line with menu specifications.
* Assist in the creation and development of new menus, taking into account guest preferences, seasonal ingredients, and market trends.
* Monitor kitchen inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained, orders are placed in a timely manner, and food wastage is minimized.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, conducting regular inspections of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth coordination of kitchen operations for events, banquets, and in-room dining services.
* Assist in managing kitchen budgets, controlling food costs, and optimizing the profitability of culinary operations.
* Handle guest feedback and special requests in a professional and prompt manner.
* Participate in regular staff meetings and provide input on improving kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.

**What You Bring**

* A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
* Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
* A proven ability to create and execute high-quality, innovative menus.
* Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on consistency and quality.
* Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
* Candidates must possess the legal right to work in Saudi Arabia.
